How does Feng Shui work?
Feng Shui is about achieving alignment and balance between
opposing forces, neutralizing the negative and enhancing the
positive aspects.
Balance and harmony in your environment will improve mental
and physical health to all the residents including pets. It also
brings general good luck which relates to increased opportunities.

Traditional Feng Shui is based on space and time and how qi (energy) flows throughout the house, improving or affecting its quality. Feng Shui considers several other aspects:
▪ the residents and their interaction with the magnetic orientation of their house
▪ time when the house was built or renovated
▪ interior layout/design
▪ external man-made environment like roads or neighboring structures
▪ natural features like hills, mountains or rivers
▪ the five elements: fire, earth, metal, water and wood
▪ yin and yang polarity
▪ directions with the 8 trigrams

The energy blueprint of the house shows positive areas that can be enhanced and negative ones that are avoided, keeping in mind that Feng Shui is a common-sense approach to practical matters.
Your house will belong to one of these 5 types:
▪ good for people (health and relationships) and good for money
▪ good for people and bad for money
▪ bad for people and good for money
▪ bad for people and money
▪ locked for people or money for a specific period of time
Traditional Feng Shui, also called Xuan Kong Feng Shui is a complex method using different schools to make an assessment of a house:
▪ East/West trigrams, including residents and building's directions
▪ Form School and the environmental influences
▪ Xuan Kong calculations with the building's energy blueprint and remedies.
The remedies are based on the 5 elements and are suggested to balance the energy of your house. They are essential to any change or goal you want to achieve and it is up to you to implement them.
What Feng Shui is not:
Feng Shui is not a belief system. You do not need to believe in it to work. Traditional Feng Shui is not a religion, superstition, mysticism, based on positive thinking or psychology, related to mirrors, crystals, burning incense or using objects as symbols.
